Hamilton Boys' High School defend Maadi Cup title in dramatic fashion

The Hamilton BHS crew won a dramatic boys u-18 eights final for the Maadi Cup in the last event at the New Zealand secondary schools rowing championships at Lake Karapiro on Saturday. The eight of Marcus Bolli, Lucas Clarke, Ruben Houghton, Thomas Bedford, Thomas Williams, Jack Curphey, Kobi Abrahamson, Henry Fullerton-Smith and Matthew Deller had to come from behind in the second half of the race to defeat Christ's College, who came again at the finish.
