Skipton Gala helps a record 31 local groups

SKIPTON Charities Gala Committee has handed A 4,000, the proceeds of the 2014 event, to a record 31 local organisations and charities - all that applied, in fact. A presentation evening was held at Herriot's Hotel in Skipton and the cheques were presented to gala committee chairman Geoff Dunn, assisted by reigning gala queen Olivia Bacon.
