The Division Title is up for grabs - should we as fans want it?

Now that the Week 12 games are all in the books and the Panthers have played as many games as everyone else in the NFC South, the Panthers find themselves in the fortunate position to still be "in the hunt" for a second consecutive division crown. While winning the division and hosting a home playoff game would help to soothe the pain of this rarely up and mostly down season, I'm thinking more of how making the playoffs with a losing or "barely winning" record isn't a good thing in the grand scheme.
