Canyon claims dramatic Grade One

Nichols Canyon made it to two from two as a jumped when running out a smart winner of the Bar One Racing Royal Bond Novice Hurdle at Fairyhouse, but stablemate and favourite Allez Colombieres was pulled up early on and taken for veterinary treatment. With the even-money market-leader out of the race, the former John Gosden-trained dual Listed winner took full advantage.
