Fairmount Park races resume after labor dispute

Weekend horse races are expected to resume at Fairmount Park after the southern Illinois track canceled its race card Tuesday because of a labor dispute. Fairmount Park president Brian Zander tells the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that union members set up informational pickets at the Collinsville track's two main entrances objecting to the use of a non-union company for hail damage repairs to the main grandstand roof.
