Micky Adams leaves role as Tranmere Rovers manager

Adams has failed to master a reverse in fortunes at the struggling Sky Bet League Two club, who go into the final two games of the season bottom of the table. The 53-year-old had been in charge since October 2014 when he took over from Rob Edwards, who was sacked after a slow start to the season which left them bottom after 12 matches.
