NASCAR eyes more use of protective barriers

Kyle Busch's head-first crash into a concrete wall last Saturday at Daytona International Speedway has created a renewed focus on Steel and Foam Energy Reduction barriers throughout NASCAR. Atlanta Motor Speedway will add protective barriers at the infield exit of pit road and the inside wall at Turn 4 in time for Sunday's Folds of Honor Quik Trip 500.
