It was a little more than a year ago when Syracuse famously took its Northern brand of football to the South, barreling through the North Carolina State defense for 362 rushing yards in the school's first ACC win. On Saturday, things were decidedly reversed in N.C. State's 24-17 win at the Carrier Dome, with the Wolfpack sacking quarterback A.J. Long eight times and second-year coach Dave Doeren earning his first win after 12 games in his new conference.
