Left winger Bryan Bickell scored a tie-breaking goal late in the third period, and the Chicago Blackhawks overcame a strong performance from Colorado goaltender Calvin Pickard to beat the Avalanche 3-2 on Wednesday night. Centers Jonathan Toews and Andrew Shaw also scored and goaltender Corey Crawford had 27 saves for the Blackhawks.
