Tanaka lasts just 1 2-3 innings in shortest stint

Masahiro Tanaka's shortest stint with the New York Yankees is over with two outs in the second inning against the Boston Red Sox. In his 20th major league start after an unbeaten season in Japan, Tanaka was charged with seven hits and seven runs, five of them earned Saturday.
