N.J. female legislators call for NFL to address domestic violence

A bipartisan group of female state legislators is pushing for the National Football League to be stripped of the tax breaks it receives so those funds could be diverted to domestic violence awareness and prevention, after a string of recent incidences has stirred a national debate on how the league's athletes should be punished if they are arrested for such offenses. The press conference was held Tuesday morning - a day before the start of Domestic Violence Awareness Month - at the Izod Center with MetLife Stadium, where the Jets and Giants play, in the background.
