Some 2,000 people attended the unveiling of the first Buddhist stupa in the Czech Republic on Sunday in the village of TA>novice in the PlzeAS region. The stupa, which is used by Buddhists as a place of meditation, is a seven-metre-tall structure made of granite and contains a treasury filled with various objects, such as texts, Buddha relics and small offerings.
