The Boston Red Sox avoided arbitration with outfielder/first baseman Daniel Nava, agreeing to a one-year deal on Thursday. The 31-year-old spent most of the 2014 season with the Red Sox, batting .270 along with 21 doubles, four home runs, 37 RBI, 33 walks, and 41 runs scored in 113 games.
