MMAC leaders expect Gov. Walker's leadership will sway conservatives on arena plan

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker explains his arena-funding proposal that includes projections for increased income tax revenue from NBA players. Now comes the hard part, which involves Walker and the owners of the Milwaukee Bucks convincing state legislators that his plan will deliver what he has promised: No additional tax burden except on NBA players and no risk that the state would lose money if the Bucks would leave Milwaukee while the payments remain on the state's arena debt.
