Australia endured mixed fortunes at the Delray Beach International, with Bernard Tomic advancing from the second round and countryman Marinko Matosevic departing the tournament. Tomic defeated number eight seed Viktor Troicki in three sets, triumphing 6-3, 6-7 , 6-4 over the Serbian.
