Southend carry on winning

Second-half Shrimpers strikes from Kevan Hurst and Jack Payne put the game beyond the hosts after Russell Penn had earlier cancelled out Myles Weston's opening goal from the penalty spot. Southend forged ahead on ten minutes when Weston got his second goal for the club following a summer move from Gillingham.
