Egg Drop defeated Appealing by a head to win the $150,000 Yellow Ribbon Handicap on Monday at Del Mar. Ridden by Brice Blanc, Egg Drop ran 1 1/16 miles on the turf course in 1:40.50 and paid $8, $4.80 and $3.80.
