AD Daryl Gross says Syracuse football will target tough nonconference opponents to bolster strength of schedule

With the ACC's eight-game schedule, Syracuse can add four nonconference games per year, a task that might be of considerable importance starting in 2014, when the College Football Playoff format debuts.
