The Great Kaepernick-Smith debate? Nobody won

So, when the 49ers swapped out Alex Smith for Colin Kaepernick two years ago, who won? Smith or Kaepernick? The 49ers or Chiefs? Jim Harbaugh or everybody who thought Harbaugh was an idiot? With three weeks left in 2014, nobody's a winner in that deal for lack of a better term, since it was actually a choice - the 49ers choosing to keep Kaep in 2012 and trade Smith after the season. The 49ers have lost ugly two weeks in a row.
