Dominka Cibulkova climbed to the top of her group at the WTA Tournament of Champions with a 7-5, 6-4 win over Carla Suarez Navarro in Sofia, Bulgaria on Thursday morning. Cibulkova, seeded second in the Bulgarian capital, jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first set, but surrendered five set-point opportunities.
