Mike Vellucci leaving Plymouth Whalers for job with Hurricanes

Plymouth Whalers coach/general manager Mike Vellucci finally is getting an opportunity in the NHL, but he's still going to work for Peter Karmanos Jr. Vellucci today was named assistant GM and director of hockey operations for the Carolina Hurricanes.
