Rogers to open for Australia in first Test

Chris Rogers will return from the wilderness and open the batting for Australia alongside Shane Watson for the first Ashes Test in Nottingham starting on July 10. The definitive call from new coach Darren Lehmann leaves incumbent Ed Cowan in the dark about where he will bat in the line-up, if indeed he can survive the cut for Trent Bridge.
